Meghan Louise Taylor began her education in vocal performance as an operatic dramatic soprano earning her B.Mus from the University of Georgia and her MA from the Royal Academy of Music in London.
Post graduation, her professional performance experience has included everything from jazz concerts, to opera, stage plays, and even pantomime! Meghan is at home onstage be it drama or comedy and she loves to explore the many facets her versatile voice can take on.
Most recently Meghan went on tour across the UK with The Whole Pack Theatre as Bottom and Theseus in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream. She also served as the music director and producer for this 5 star reviewed show. Up next, Meghan will perform the role of Lady Sibyl and U/S Morgan Le Fey with Riverside Theatre Project in Lerner and Loewe's Camelot.
Alongside her performance career, Meghan has made a name for herself in the VO industry in the commercial and entertainment sector as a voice artist and voice director, respectively. This direction work is done under her legal surname, Butten whilst all performance and musical work remains billed in her maiden name, Taylor.
Outside of the world of show-biz, Meghan is the proud dog-mom of two terrier mixes who can be just as loud as she is!
